Is there a minimum number of nights?

Yes, the minimum stay is 2 nights.

How many guests can the cottage accommodate?

Le gîte peut accueillir jusqu’à 15 personnes, sur environ 180 m² répartis sur 2 niveaux.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer, credit card, holiday vouchers (chèques vacances) or espèces.

Do you require a security deposit?

Yes, the deposit is €500, refunded after the check-out inspection if everything is in order.

Are there any extra fees (cleaning, options, etc.)?

Yes:

option « Kit bébé » disponible en supplément comprenant un lit parapluie avec matelas, une baignoire sur pied, une table à langer et une chaise haute.
“Fully stocked fridge” option disponible en supplément, pour arriver avec le frigo déjà approvisionné.

What is the total price (taxes and charges included)?

Depends on the number of nights + optional add-ons + €0.80 tourist tax per adult guest per night.

Can I rent the cottage for a single night?

No, the minimum stay is 2 nights (except by special agreement).

What is the cancellation policy?

Gratuit jusqu’à 30 jours avant l’arrivée : demande faite par écrit obligatoirement. Si cela intervient 8 jours avant la date d’arrivée, la totalité du séjour sera facturé, à défaut les 30% d’acompte versé à la réservation.

The cottage is non-smoking.

What about bed linen and towels?

Bed linen and bath towels are provided, along with dedicated bathrobes for the outdoor hot tub area.

Is there a fully equipped kitchen, and what utensils are available?

Yes, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, filter and pod coffee makers (SENSEO), kettle, blender, food processor, raclette sets, etc.

What bedrooms are available and what are their features?

Rock’n’Rose, Rosée Claire, Fleur Bleue and Bouton d’Or bedrooms : un lit 160×200, linge de lit & toilette, climatisation/ chauffage.
Danse des Fleurs bedroom : 3 lits 90×200, linge de lit & toilette, climatisation/ chauffage.
Chambre Belle de nuit : : un lit 160×200 et lit banquette extensible 75 x 190 (2 places), linge de lit & toilette, climatisation/ chauffage.

Is there parking?

Yes, private on-site parking for 6 to 8 cars.

Is the cottage heated / air-conditioned for all seasons?

Oui, chauffage réversible / climatisation pour l’été comme l’hiver.

Is there an outdoor space / garden / leisure area?

Yes — 900 m² of outdoor space with a shaded terrace and pergola, barbecue, plancha, pétanque court, bike shelter and children’s games.

Is breakfast or on-site catering available?

Not as standard, but available on request along with other services.

Is the cottage suitable for families with children?

Yes, the cottage welcomes families with an optional baby kit, plus indoor and outdoor play areas. avec des jeux extérieurs et intérieurs à disposition

Is the cottage accessible for guests with reduced mobility?

Partiellement : le rez-de-chaussée comprend 2 chambres accessibles, largeur de portes de 83cm et une SDB avec douche à l’italienne. Circulation fluide dans la grande pièce de vie.

Is Wi-Fi available throughout the cottage?

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge in every room.

Is heating or air conditioning available in every bedroom?

Yes, in every room.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Generally, check-in from 5 pm and check-out before 11 am.

Can I arrive outside the standard hours?

Yes — please contact us in advance to arrange flexible check-in or check-out.

Yes — the cottage is in VERDUN-CIEL (Ciel side) with a grocery/tobacco/news shop, bakery, butcher/deli, hairdresser and restaurant all within a 5-minute walk.

Are bike rentals or tourist activities available nearby?

Oui et multi activités proches : randonnées, pêche, vélo, sites historiques, marchés, musées…n’hésitez pas à consulter le lien de l’office du tourisme Saône Doubs Bresse et ceux environnants et sur place à consulter notre livret d’accueil.

Yes — the cottage has a large countryside garden next to a field where a few sheep graze.

Safety and house rules

Can I smoke in the garden or only outside the property?

Only outside the house in the garden — please dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtray provided.

What is the maximum parking capacity?

Up to 8 vehicles.

Les fêtes sont-elles acceptées ?

No, the property is not suitable (no stag or hen parties).

Can I host an event (wedding, birthday, seminar)?

No — only with prior authorisation, within a limit of 15 guests and compliant noise levels.

Hot tub

Is the hot tub available year-round?

Yes — it is continuously heated and can be used in any season, even in winter. The temperature is set for optimal comfort.

What are the key safety rules?

Never dive in or submerge your head. Do not use the hot tub under the influence of alcohol. Leave the water immediately if you feel unwell or overheated. Always close the thermal cover after use.

Is the water changed between stays?

The water is continuously filtered and treated daily. It is replaced regularly in accordance with current hygiene standards.

Is the hot tub cleaned between stays?

Yes. The water is treated, filtered and checked before each arrival. Regular maintenance ensures impeccable hygiene.

What are the usage hours?

The hot tub is available from 8 am to 10 pm to preserve peace and quiet for neighbours and guests.

Do I need to bring anything to use it?

A swimsuit is required. Dedicated hot tub bathrobes are provided so you don’t need to use the bathroom towels.

Is the hot tub suitable for children?

For safety reasons, access is strictly forbidden to children under 12. Older children must be supervised at all times by an adult. The heat and jets are not suitable for young children.

Is the hot tub noisy?

The jets make a slight operating noise, nothing disturbing. Please keep splashes and loud conversations to a minimum in the evening.

Can I play music or host a party in the hot tub?

You can enjoy a friendly time — the tub even has a built-in sound system. Please still respect the peace of the neighbourhood and avoid turning the hot tub into a party venue.

What temperature does the hot tub run at?

The hot tub is set between 36°C and 38°C — the ideal temperature for relaxation.

Should I shower before entering?

Yes if needed — a quick shower is preferable to preserve the water quality and proper functioning of the hot tub.

Can I add essential oils or other products to the water?

NO. Any added product (oils, foam, salts…) is forbidden as it damages the filtration system.

How long can I stay in the hot tub?

For comfortable use, limit each session to 15–20 minutes, then take a break.

Can I eat or drink in the hot tub?

Glass drinkware and food are forbidden in the hot tub for safety and hygiene reasons.

What should I do if there is a technical issue?

If you notice a malfunction (temperature, jets, lighting…), please let us know immediately. We will act quickly.

What should I do if the water becomes cloudy?

Just let us know. We will act promptly to restore water quality.

Can the hot tub be used in the rain?

Yes, absolutely — and it is sheltered. In a thunderstorm, however, it is recommended to exit as a precaution.
